Optech Incorporated, Toronto, Canada, promoted Brent Gelhar to vice president of sales and product strategy, a new executive position on the company’s senior management team. With Optech for five years, Gelhar was previously director of lidar technology products, with responsibility for the ILRIS-3D terrestrial laser scanner business as well as, more recently, the company’s ALTM (Airborne Laser Terrain Mapper) business.
